Contracts awarded

A number of large contracts have been awarded by F4E in recent months. Please consult the corresponding tender information here if there are any products or services you can offer to the prime contractors. Main recent contracts are:

  • 302 Decennial Insurance
  • 292 SEALED HELIUM COMPRESSOR FEASIBILITY
  • 289 Update and Completion of the Design of the Front-End Cryopumps Cryodistribution
  • 284 Fabrication of pre-qualification semi-prototypes of the ITER FW panels (former 097 Lot 1)
    Develop and manufacture 2 semi-prototypes and five small scale mock-ups, representative of the Normal Heat Flux (NHF) design
  • 272 OMF Engineering Support in the area of Remote Handling
  • 169 Provision of System and Instrumentation Engineering support
  • 167 Provision of Material Characterisation at Room and Elevated Temperatures

Requests for information

F4E intermittently requests information to its ILO’s on national competencies in specific fields. This information is useful to F4E for their tender preparation.

In the 4th quarter 2011 F4E will be launching a Call for Tender for preliminary analysis for SHARP BENDING of tubes in the elements of the First Wall. Competent companies are hereby encouraged to express their interest to their ILO.

Competitive Dialogue

F4E has posted on August 29, 2011 the 3 candidates (F4E-OPE-285 – Selected Candidates.pdf) who will be invited to negotiate the terms and conditions for preparing an offer.

F4E-OPE-286: Civil Engineering and Finishing works for Tokamak Complex, Assembly Hall and surrounding buildings including Design, Manufacture and installation of Heavy Nuclear Doors

Calls for Nominations

May we remind you that the only requirement at the initial stage is to express your interest per email to ITER-Calls@f4e.europa.eu prior to the deadline with your postal address and contact person. Thereupon F4E will forward your email to ITER Organization in Cadarache, who in turn will send you the complete Terms of Reference. You may then decide if you can/want to submit an offer or not.

Calls for Proposals
IO may also from time to time issue Calls for Proposals through its Domestic Agencies, mainly for expertise either from individuals or firms. The Call for Proposal provides all needed information for making a tender, including the email address of the recipient of the tender at IO.
